Yes, reservation is made for candidates belonging to Physically Disabled Categories in respect of vacancies as may be fixed by the Government. Physically disabled candidates are required to meet special eligibility criteria in terms of physical requirements/functional classification consistent with requirements of the identified service post. Sir, I am a 2nd year student of Mechanical Engineering and aspiring for Civil services examination. Currently, I am going through Bipin Chandra's India's Struggle for Independence and I am a daily reader of The Hindu. I am confused regarding optionals. For 1st optional Pub ad seems good but for second, I am hanging between Sociology, Geography and Literature of Maithili language . ( cannot go for science subjects or for mechanical engineering, as I know myself.) What should I do ,from now only to get in , in the very 1st attempt? hi sir, I am planning to appear for the CSE 2013 and i have no prior knowledge about the subjects apart from what i have studied in school. Most of tell that we need at least one and half years prior preparation for prelims, but i have only six months left for the exam and i am not working and fully concentrating on the exam right now.
