Has the relaxation of the Upper Age limit come in effect? News report confirm the news, however no notification seems to be provided in the UPSC website.

As the decision about the additional attempts and relaxation in age is put on DoPT website after Central Government approved this; it is just a matter of time when UPSC announce. This is clearly mentioned that these relaxations are slated to come in effect from this year's examination only. As you are completing your engineering degree, you have enough time to prepare and you should not show such haste in appearing for any examination – be it IAS or MPSC.
