Sir, I am doing Economics Hons from University of Delhi. I am confused between Public Administration (totally a new subject) and Economics (low cut-offs) for my Mains optional paper. Please suggest and advice.

As per new Main Examination pattern you need to take only one optional subject and there is no reason why you should get confused with optional subject choice. You should go for your own subject –Economics instead of trying hands with a new subject. Moreover, the recent result trends for Public Administration are also depressing.
