I am running 30 years old on date 10 January 2014, my dob is 10-01-1984. Can I get my 1st attempt (chance) from general category in civil services 2014 according to changed dates? Please tell; I am getting confused.

As per the eligibility conditions, the candidates (General Category) must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August of the year for which notification has come i.e. for Civil Services Examination 2013, those candidates were eligible to appear who were born not earlier than 2nd August 1983.
