What should be the optional for aspirants from a B.A.LLB background, should they opt for law being the subject they qualified in or should they go for the subject they have more interest in ?

If you go by the trend, Law as optional subject is performing very well and lots of candidates are able to achieve success with the contribution that comes from optional subject Law.

In recent years, this trend has gained momentum and even non-Law background candidates are making their presence felt.

I think it is going to be strategic if you stick to your own subject provided you have full confidence in your choice.

Have a look at the syllabus and previous years' papers to understand the current trends and examiner's expectations and decide if it is managable or not.
