This is right time to decide about timing for foray into Civil Services Examination and you should seriously analyse the factors that can impact your attempt.

First, be clear that post-graduation is not prerequisite for appearing in Civil Services Examination. You become eligible with a bachelor’s degree.

As you wish to appear with optional subject from humanities stream, you should spend some time to figure out which subject suits you the most.

We suggest, you look at General Studies related requirements and begin with some basic books. Also, cultivate newspaper reading habit.

Grip over current affairs and awareness built over long-span would help you in tackling the preparation in planned manner.

With this foundation, if you are really committed indulge in serious preparation and if feel confident, take first attempt.

At that moment, if you get impression that you need to enhance your knowledge, you can always take a call for applying for Post-graduation.
