We all know that syllabus is so huge and wide but what should be the strategy for covering whole syllabus and also for revising it. Most importantly how to revise all topics again?

You have to plan your preparation strategy and self-assessment is the first step you need to take. This will help you know your strength and weaknesses.

Now, prioritize your preparation-plan accordingly and plan to cover the complete syllabus slowly and steadily. Maintaining consistency in preparation is must.

Initially, start reading those subjects that you understand, have aptitude and prior familiarity. This will build genuine interest and gradually, you can move to other subjects that are new to you.

If you have to prepare effectively, you should look at the previous years’ question papers also to understand the examiner’s expectations and current trends. This will be of immense value while reading as you will be able to spot important topics and issues that are being asked in examination quite often.

By paying special attention to these, you read thoroughly and carefully; keep on marking and making notes point-wise to help you in next round to spot important chapters saving a lot of your time.

Preparing notes is the biggest and effective tool in your preparation plan. As you move further, it will not be wise to go back to books for each requirement.

As you read books, study material, class-notes etc., by extracting the best suitable and relevant matter, you should write systematically at one place in shape of notes. This exercise will help you in remembering and retaining as you write yourself after being aware of the associated facts.

Keep preparing and move slowly and steadily towards your goal.

All the best!
