Sir, I am doing MBBS internship. I want to take my career in Civil Services. So, plz suggest what would be my optional subject of choice. I am from Hindi background before MBBS; so, can I choose Hindi medium without scaring rumour about Hindi?

Don’t think too much about performance of Hindi medium candidates in recent years’ as this is just a transition phase and most of the Hindi medium candidates find it difficult to cross the first hurdle – Preliminary Examination.

However, you are from medical background and preparing for Preliminary Examination related requirements especially for Paper II should not pose major problems to you.

If you understand the exam-plan well and related requirement at each stage of the examination, you can do it even with Hindi medium. After all, there are many Hindi medium candidates who achieve top ranks; so, concentrate on excellent preparation rather than getting puzzled with past developments.
