There is a lot of time for becoming eligible for IAS dream and in an uncertain time when there is anticipation of changes in Main Examination pattern and expectation of removal of optional subjects, you can keep decision about optional subjects on hold.

It is expected that soon some clarity should emerge on this front and then you can make you plans. Till then, keep reading newspapers and strengthen your awareness and information level which will be of great help in Civil Service Examination preparation.
