It has been a tough time for Coaching Industry as COVID-19 scare and its impact is shape of Lockdown has completely changed the landscape.

With Unlock-1, things have started coming back to normal; but it will take a while before normalacy returns back.

However, as we are learning to live in evolving situations, I sincerely hope that with some precautions and following norms things would come back to life soon.

In the present set-up, the role of coaching institutes cannot be ignored. Many candidates seek guidance for various courses, modules available and benefit.

As long as competitive spirit remains alive, candidates will look for ways to improve their performance.

While, some make special efforts with self-help; for an immaculate performance many candidates will still depend on coaching institutes.

Like any other business, this lockdown has completely crippled the functioning of the coaching industry and all the classrooms are closed. Hostels are empty and things look really uncertain.

Now, everyone is sensing Digital a big opportunity

The present situation has completely transformed the landscape.Aftermaths of COVID-19 on Coaching Institutes

The theory of expanding business with geographical presence has been completely shattered during this COVID-19 period.

The virtual world has become reality and when it was seemingly difficult to enforce digital, everyone is giving the impression that Digital is the future.

Why it has cropped up right now; it is future and many have envisioned it long before some of us woke up.

It is never too late

The only thing we need right now is a new mindset.

A agree that some institutes are ready and for some, it will take a while before we are ready with digital platform; but it is worth.

Now, everyone understands and agree that it necessitates to go digital.

However, it is not a smooth transition from Physical to Digital

Reason is that coaching is a serious business; and when we talk about coaching for Civil Services Examination or may be Judicial Services, it is all about improving performance, understanding the intricacies involved.

It has been a wonderful world of mentors who have helped many candidates to achieve big successes and for decades, many candidates acknowledge the role of coaching openly.

But I must tell you that most of the coaching institutes have shown a strong inclination to take advantage of the evolving opportunities this education sector is throwing.

Be it online classes, reaching out to candidates through App or using YouTube, efforts are being made to help candidates to continue preparation and equip with the content they need to face the examination effectively.

At any given time, big names are in a better position (financially as well as brand recognition) to take advantage; but during these uncertain times, somehow, even the smaller entities are also not missing the opportunity.

They are either aligning with some big corporate or are trying hands with technology to remain connected with their students.

Life will move on

Yes, it will.

Nothing stops and somehow things would cripple back to normalcy.

It is a transitory phase and with passage of time things would stabilize.

What we precisely need is to be proactive.

Things would normalize soon; coaching institutes will open and gradually trust will come back in every walk of life and so will be the case for coaching institutes.

Yes, while we resume our work, we will have to be mindful about Corona Virus.

Remaining vigilant and awareness about your personal hygiene will be the only savior.

Wearing mask, washing your hands with soap after regular intervals, using sanitizer frequently when out of home and maintaining physical distancing are some normal practices that we will have to adopt.

Yes, there are lots of success-stories waiting to be written.

Let optimism prevail.
