Civil Services Examination, ‘Mother of all Exams’ as it is called; is in league of its own.

In recent years, this examination has become more creative and innovative and the emerging requirements have forced the candidates to adopt a fresh approach for preparation.


In the recent years, the craze for Civil Services Examination has increased and a stiffer competition particularly at Preliminary Examination level has made it more challenging.

Yes, ‘Job Security’ has been topmost reason for amplified interest but despite rise in competition; craze for top jobs and zeal to serve the nation has kept the aspirants’ hope alive.

An important observation from extremely conducive environment builds a case for many versatile, talented candidates to make a foray in to Civil Services Examination and their increasing participation has intensified the competition.

The strengthened participation from a lot of professionally qualified and working youth thus more number of worthy candidates are competing and the recent results have shown that they have made their presence felt.

With a lot of awareness around, we are witnessing drastic change in the education standards and profile of candidates which has made the contest stiffer.

On one hand, UPSC is in inventive mode and by adopting dynamic approach; the examination is getting more creative and innovative; on the other hand, these talented and professionally qualified youngsters are far more sincere in making career in ‘Civil Services’ and utilizing their competence and skills, on the whole their chances of cracking Preliminary Examination have enhanced.

The emerging situation requires a meticulous planning, flawless preparation and excellent presentation at each level of examination and incessant improvisation that is suitable in handling Preliminary, Mains examination effectively and even at, Personality Test (interview) level, indicates the prefect execution of your plan.

Know the complete exam-plan

To a certain extent, the toughness and uncertainties of this exam worries; but, largely, due to insincerity showed by many candidates toward the basic facts linked to the exam-plan and related requirements at each stage of the examination creates confusion.

This results in a lot of apprehensions that hampers the preparation-plan of many.

So, before you indulge in serious preparation, define your goal clearly. Make some efforts to gain precise information so that you can make better use of the resource, your time and efforts.

Pledge to give your best, don’t hesitate, start preparing; god-willing you will emerge as front-runner.
